Professor Andrew Quicke


Professor Andrew Quicke spent 25 years writing, directing and producing for BBC television Reuters Visnews, Clearview International and in the 1980s as President of Kensington Film Services in Notinghill London.

He joined Regent University as Associate Professor of International Broadcasting and has since speicalized in film projects. Under his guidance as Executive producer, his students have won 6 Cine Awards, 2 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards, 2 Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Awards, the Communication Award and others.

A broken mirror could be enough to repair a damaged relationship between mother and son when Charlie, despite trouble in his own adolescent world, reaches out to help.

The diner's waitress must decide if she will follow the local law of segregation or help the students while members of the town watch her every move.

Hell...on earth

A successful radio DJ in Dallas, Jeff Collins candidly reveals his personal battle with drug and alcohol addiction. He recounts his personal downfall into hell and the fight to regain his life. Jeff celebrates his sobriety and offers hope to others who deal with the disease of addiction.

After Sunday’s service, Pastor Biggs is informed by a familiar, yet unannounced visitor, that it is imperative that he goes to visit his son. The Pastor and son meet and a new revelation is revealed.

The Dance

This is a romantic comedy about three couples in different stages of love and life who come together on a dance floor at Harvard University. Before the music ends these couples will unveil their passions, heartaches and hope in this unapologetic glimpse into the complicated reality of human relationships.

Nasuh

Based on the poem by the Sufi poet Rumi, 'Nasuh' is a short experimental film created collaboratively by composer Scott Lindroth and artist Anya Belkina. It tells the story of a lecherous bath-house worker, Nasuh, who overcomes his carnal desires when hit by a spiritual revelation. The piece weaves together drawing, video and animation to the sound of concerto for strings and soprano.

The Pit and the Pendulum

The Pit and the Pendulum, rediscovers this tale of judgment, condemnation, despair, hope, and eventual redemption. We watch our hero struggle to understand his quandary in order to find hope and faith, while discovering the fiendish machinations his captors employ, to ratchet up the pressure in their efforts to unhinge him.

Sheltered Hope

A special boy visits a homeless shelter, intent on lifting the spirits of a terminally ill homeless man. This heartwarming story is the latest effort of award winning filmmaker Eric Gaunaurd, whose latest effort follows his short film Mentor, which screened at festivals nationwide. “I had always wanted to write a film that was moving, both spiritually and emotionally', said Gaunaurd.
