Redemptive Purpose

(To help redeem victims of modern day slavery)

The Redemptive Film Festival is not just interested in promoting redemptive films, but we are also actively involved in the process of redemption. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to helping to rescue and empower the victims of modern day slavery. Today there are more than 27 million slaves in the world, more than the number of people extracted from Africa throughout the 400 years of the slave trade.

Towards this end, we are partnering with

International Justice Mission, a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.

The four-fold purpose of the organization is:

» Victim Relief
» Perpetrator Accountability
» Victim Aftercare
» Structural Prevention

The Redemptive Film Festival will be donating 60% of all proceeds from the festival and 100% donated through the festival for "REDEMPTION."  To make a donation specifically for this cause, please use the link below.
